Owner, Mike Bevans said: “We set out to create a hotel that wasn’t still and formal, lots of places have since followed suit, with some great unstuffy brands out there.
“It’s about having a high quality but relaxed environment.
“The easiest thing about work is doing something I love, I get to combine business with pleasure.
“We’re passionate about high standards, we make a great impression because we make people happy.
“We’re there to give people a break from their normal lives, most of our business is return customers and we’ve had three generations of a family enjoy our hotel.
“I love seeing customers fall in love with the Lake District, it’s a place that restores the spirit.”
