Business booming at Warrington’s Birchwood Park

Business booming at Warrington’s Birchwood Park with a total of 93,500 sq ft of commercial office space let in 2014, equivalent to over a third of the total office lettings in Birchwood and more than any other landlord in the area.

A total of 58 suites were let through a combination of 20 company expansions and 38 new companies arriving on the Park, including Hyder, Epicor, Intaforensics and the Ministry of Justice.

A £4.7 million refurbishment of the newly completed 401 Faraday St, has transformed the building and has successfully pre-let more than half of the total floor area in 2014.

The Park now has a total occupancy rate of over 95% spanning 1.176 million sq ft.

Managing director at Birchwood Park, Jonathan Walsh, said: “2014 was a phenomenal year for the Park; especially when you consider that one of our largest buildings 401 Faraday St was unavailable for most of that time.

“Not only did we enable 20 of our existing companies to grow, we also welcomed over 1,000 new workers to the Park.

“Our success reinforces just what a great place for business the Birchwood area is.

“In today’s fast-paced business environment, our on-site team works hard to keep developing the business community we have created over the years.

“There is a vibrancy here that I don’t think exists anywhere else in the area.
