French sportswear marketing company chooses Manchester
French sportswear marketing company Sport Fashion Distribution (SFD-UK) has signed up to Richmond House in Manchester city centre.
SFD-UK has taken 3,796 sq ft space at the 16,000 sq ft Bloom Street property and will join existing tenants including The Aidis Trust, Richmond House Tea Rooms and Eagle Bar.
Headquartered in Nantes, France, Sport Finance is a distributor and licensee of brands such as Kappa sportswear.
The organisation operates across many key markets in Europe, with offices, similar to that of the UK, in Switzerland and Madrid with future target markets planned.
Mark Ward of SFD-UK said: “We viewed many properties around Manchester but as soon as we came to Richmond House we knew we had found the perfect location for our company. “We have invested significantly on the design of the office and showrooms with our customers being extremely impressed when they visit!”
Michael Quinlan of Norgate Properties said: “When the space became available last year, we carried out refurbishment works to the offices and common areas, including splitting floors to create a wider range of suite sizes.
“This has been an extremely popular property since we acquired it in 2010 and we look forward to welcoming SFD-UK when they take occupation later this month.”
