Westray Recruitment Consultants appoint Operations Manager

Last week Westray welcomed it’s newest member of staff Allena Clarke, who joins Westray in the pivotal role of Operations Manager. Everyone at Westray is thrilled to be welcoming Allena, who has an extraordinary track record within the recruitment industry.

We thought this would be a good opportunity to introduce Allena, and to let everyone know a little about her and how she came to be a part of the Westray family.

Aside from admitting to joining the recruitment industry in 1986, Allena can confirm she has worked across the majority of disciplines including the commercial, engineering and industrial markets, rising from recruitment consultant through to Board Director of National consultancies.

In her most recent role, Allena operated as a Commercial Director within the outsource contact centre industry during which time she became a client of Westray. Throughout her time working with Westray, as one of our clients, she experienced first-hand our exemplary service and standards, and as a result, eagerly joined the team as an Operations Manager when the opportunity arose.

Over the last 29 years, Allena has stayed abreast of the vast changes within the business world by completing an e-business degree, followed by a Masters in Enterprise Management. These qualifications gave her a foundation in which to apply her vast experience and further her career in recruitment.

Westray’s Managing Director Maureen Wright has said on Allena’s appointment “I am very much looking forward to working alongside Allena, taking the business forward utilising her expertise and vast knowledge of the industry”.

When Allena’s not hard at work - we do let her leave every now and then! - she enjoys spending time at her Northumberland holiday home with her two teenage children.
