Electric car company Tesla open first North West showroom in Knutsford
American electric car company Tesla has opened its first North West showroom in Knutsford.
Monckton Properties (part of the Tatton Estate) has secured the new look 3,000 sq ft showroom for Knutsford Town Centre.
Tesla’s stores, frequently located in city centres and shopping malls, are set up not only as sales outlets but also to help everyone learn more about electric vehicles and technology.
Jim McCain who negotiated the transaction for Monckton Properties said:
“We are delighted to welcome Tesla as our latest Tatton Estate tenant to Knutsford and are
thrilled to see it open its first showroom in the North right here in Cheshire.
“The investments by Monckton and Tesla will enhance the town centre, create high value jobs and reduce even further the amount of space not let.
“Knutsford is a thriving and exciting town and part of the Northern Powerhouse and we look forward to capitalising on the unique contribution Tesla and its zero-emissions technology make to the local business community and environment here in the United Kingdom.”
