Manchester PR agency Citypress wins Odgers Interim contract

Manchester PR agency Citypress has won a new contract with Odgers Interim, a global executive search firm.

Odgers Interim identifies and places directors and senior managers in organisations across the private, public and not for profit sectors, from universities and NHS Trusts to FTSE international businesses, mid-market companies and SMEs.

Headquartered in London, it operates across the UK as well as offices in Canada and Australia, where it is planning further international expansion.

Citypress will be working with the business to better educate the market about the role and value of executive interim appointments in helping businesses overcome short-term strategic and operational challenges.

Managing director of Odgers Interim, Grant Speed, said: “We were impressed by Citypress’ understanding of our proposition as a force for transformation and the strategic issues facing our key sectors.

“As the UK’s leading interim management provider, Odgers has an opportunity to take ownership of executive interim appointments as a solution to the many challenges facing leadership teams, from regulation and reform to internationalisation and market disruption.

“We’re excited to be partnering with Citypress as we target further growth.”

Managing director of Citypress, Martin Currie, said: “As the economy continues its recovery, more businesses are implementing major change programmes to take advantage of renewed demand, increased investment and improved confidence.

“Meanwhile, other organisations are being forced to respond to continued austerity measures or legislative reforms that are re-shaping markets and models.

“Working with interim executives not only adds the short-term bandwidth needed to accelerate through these change effectively, it also brings new perspectives from leaders which can have lasting value on organisational performance.

“We’ll be using a combination of earned and owned media to bring executive interim support both to life and to the fore, targeting decision makers across multiple sectors and geographies.”
