Topps Tiles launches Knutsford boutique store creating four jobs

Topps Tiles, a tile specialist has launched its first boutique store outside of London, leasing a 2,500 sq ft unit in Knutsford.

The news means the company will open its doors in late Spring, creating four full time jobs.

Since opening its first store in Manchester in 1963 the Topps Tiles group has grown to incorporate 1700 specialist experts and over 330 stores nationwide with more openings in the pipeline.

Jim McCain of Tatton Estate Management Ltd who negotiated the transaction on behalf of Monckton Properties Ltd said: “We are delighted to see this prime unit occupied by a great business with local roots and be the first Boutique outside London.

“Monckton Properties and the Tatton Estate take great care to conserve and improve buildings and we know that residents in Knutsford take the same pride in their homes.

“We are really pleased that Topps Tiles has chosen Knutsford to bring its unique Boutique format to Cheshire and the North-West which will provide a great new experience and choice for home improvements.”

Property Acquisition Manager at Topps Tiles, Warren Bester, said: “We’re delighted to be able to offer our Topps Tiles expertise to homeowners in the Cheshire area.

“We’re excited to be launching the Boutique concept outside of London for the first time and we are confident that our customers will enjoy the new shopping experience.”
