Property Frontiers report Liverpool and Manchester major residential buildings refurb nearly sold out

Property Frontiers, a property investment company, report that its Liverpool and Manchester major residential building refurbs have nearly sold out.

70% of the properties in Liverpool and 60% of the Manchester based plots have already been sold with the remainder expected to be gone in the next two months.

Parker Street in Liverpool will see the former Reeces Ballroom which hosted John Lennon’s wedding reception in 1962 refurbished into luxury residential apartments.

The studio and one-bed apartments are selling for between £64k and £100k and have seen interest from both buy-to-let investors and individuals.

In Salford Quays, Manchester’s old HMRC offices are being converted into residential apartments and town houses selling for between £126k and £220k.

CEO of Property Frontiers, Ray Withers, told Bdaily: The London property market has peaked.

“The North West is where opportunities are, the Northern Powerhouse initiative is driving property prices by providing more jobs and therefore a greater need for housing.

“These two schemes are an opportunity to invest in something different with a bit of character.

“They’re fully managed properties and so less hassle and they’re in prime locations.

“There is an alternative way to invest, these properties are being renovated so it’s like buying a new build but with character and less risk.”
