18 jobs lost as Manchester’s Eden Bar shuts
A restaurant and bar in the heart of Manchester has shut with the loss of all 18 jobs.
Insolvency practitioner Steven Wiseglass, of Inquesta, has been appointed liquidator of SDB Bars, which operated Eden Bar on Brazil Street.
Eden Bar had a cocktail bar and a restaurant which prided itself on serving meals made with seasonal local produce.
It also had a barge moored alongside on the Rochdale Canal where customers could eat and drink.
SDB Bars took over the running of Eden Bar in October 2012.
Mr Wiseglass said: “It is unfortunate that SDB Bars could not continue trading, and sadly there have been 18 redundancies as a result of the closure of Eden Bar.”
