Allerton Road eatery caters for Discovery Sport launch
Hatfields Land Rover Liverpool, based on Riverside Drive appointed city independent The Interesting Eating Company as its official food and drink provider for the launch of the new Discovery Sport.
Directors Nichola Lee and Andrea Edwards and their team catered for more than 150 staff, selected guests and car enthusiasts, who descended on the Liverpool retailer to witness the unveiling of the new Discovery Sport. It was the third time that the two brands had joined forces during the past twelve months.
Andrea said: “Having worked with Hatfields Land Rover Liverpool on a couple of previous occasions, it was great to be chosen as the preferred caterers for this event. What delighted us most was the feedback we had received particularly from their staff; they had loved what we had done in the past and asked for us to do the same again.
“The objective was to provide refreshments ’with a twist’ including our signature sweet and savoury pancakes, which appeal to all ages, in order to add another element to the launch.“
It’s been a busy few months for The Interesting Eating Company who have seen rapid growth in their outside catering division, with the team working on a variety of events including birthdays, weddings, private parties and corporate functions.
Head of Business at Hatfields Land Rover Liverpool, Simon Broughton added: “Since we’ve started working with The Interesting Eating Company, we’ve been very impressed with both the standard of the food and their friendly yet professional approach.
“They offer something that’s different, which our customers and staff really enjoy.“
The Interesting Eating Company focuses its offerings around good food and specialist dietary requirements. The South Liverpool venue has become a popular foodie hub since its establishment in 2012 and in July 2014, they joined forces with the JD Sports division, Ultimate Outdoors to open their second site in the form of Ultimate Cafe, which is located in Deepdale Shopping Park.
