Gateshead’s Last Night of Freedom set for further growth following 40% increase in sales

Gateshead-based stag and hen firm Last Night of Freedom is set for another healthy year of growth following a very strong 2014.

The company enjoyed a 50% increase in turnover, whilst seeing sales increase by 40%.

With more enquiries than ever the firm has saw staff numbers almost doubled, increasing from 23 to 44, as well as seeing office space increase from 4,000sq ft. to 15,000sq ft.

The firm, who started out over fifteen years ago in 1999, has been an excellent success story for the North East attracting attention globally.

Now Last Night of Freedom are aiming for continued success this year by targeting £7 million in turnover and having 40,000 shop orders.

Managing Director Matt Mavir told Bdaily: “A great deal of 2014 was about laying the foundations for 2015, and we’re getting ready for this to be our biggest year yet.

“2015 will see us grow our offerings with 9 new locations, including recently launched Hamburg, and our shop adding a new vintage collection of hen party accessories.

“It is amazing looking at how far the business has come in 15 years but this is only the beginning and we are really looking forward to further success in 2015 and beyond.”
