Roof manufacturer DTE reaches new heights with opening of £300k Warrington branch
Roof truss manufacturer Donaldson Timber Engineering Ltd (DTE) have opened a new branch on Thelwall Lane in Warrington.
The Scottish firm has made a £300k investment in the site, and recruited a team of seven, with six of the new staff employed from the local area.
The site will be led by Andy Kennedy, who has been promoted to general manager following two years at the company’s Ilkeston branch.
Managing director at DTE, Jonathan Fellingham, said : “2014 was our busiest year to date, so we are investing in new capabilities to better meet our customers’ needs.
“The location is the perfect fit for us, allowing us to provide a much more comprehensive service to our customers in the North of England and also to venture into North Wales.
“Expanding the business into the North West has long been one of our aims, and we’re thrilled to have a presence in Warrington.
“We’ve got a fantastic team lined up, and it should be a very efficient, cost effective operation.
“We’re forecasting turnover to be over £1 million on a single shift in Year One, with scope for expansion if required.
“We’re very much looking forward to seeing what the year ahead brings.”
