Tyneside IT firm launches PR focused software platform
Tyneside-based IT and business consultancy, Forfusion, has today launched a new and innovative software platform, specifically designed for the Public Relations (PR) industry and sponsored by Microsoft.
Forfusion is the first and only North East company to launch a product aimed at the PR industry and it hopes to become a major player in the PR supplier market.
The new cloud-based software, aptly-named Pragmatist, has been developed by drawing Microsoft Dynamics customer relationship management (CRM) technology and industry-leading expertise.
Forfusion claims its new software increases operational efficiencies and significantly reduces costs for PR organisations by being able to record contact history, monitor social media and measure performance from any device.
“The number of media sources has exploded in recent years, which has made the role of PR person much more difficult,” said Steven Forrest, CEO and co-founder of Forfusion.
“Pragmatist has been developed specifically to help PR professionals concentrate on billable work, rather than tedious administrative tasks.
“Combining our expertise in cloud technology with insight from some of the leading PR thinkers has enabled us to develop this revolutionary product.”
The launch follows Forfusion recent reports of record turnover (from £550,000 to £1.4 million), doubling of headcount to 24 and expansion to larger offices in the Cobalt Business Exchange in Wallsend.
