NEW Pack and Send Franchise for Deborah

A single mum of two has opened a new Pack & Send franchise, fulfilling a dream of running her own business. A natural team leader Deborah is very creative and enjoys a challenge. Franchisee Deborah has opened the new Pack & Send franchise located at Salford Quays with funding support from NatWest. The Pack and Send franchise model is an ideal fit for Deborah’s business goals and with a background in logistics it compliments her experience.

With over 30 years as an accountant within the Construction/Logistics industry the experience has given Deborah the drive and ambition to finally realise her dream and allowed her to set up a business as a franchisee within the Logistics sector. Deborah commented ‘Pack and Send Salford Quays was ideal for me with the robust links to the industry and its professional connections.“ “I am proud to be running the first Pack & Send store in the Manchester area and I am looking forward to creating long term links with local businesses” Ideally situated in the Quays area, Deborah makes the long commute from Ormskirk everyday but in her eyes it’s definitely paying off and with the store opening at the latter end of 2014 Deborah has already taken on 2 extra members of staff. With her growth and expansion plans she hopes that this is the first of 4/5 stores that she will be operating in the North West Area.

Pack and Send Salford Quays offers a complete range of bespoke packaging, freight, courier and fulfilment services from Art and Antiques, musical instruments, medical and IT equipment and have successfully delivered Mars Ice Cream Bars to Australia within 24 hours. Encompassing both UK and International markets, the team can basically deliver ANYTHING to ANYWHERE. Deborah who has two children, one of whom is disabled with Cerebellar Ataxia and Autism goes onto say “My life has been very challenging in the past, but I am determined to build a better life for my children. Due to his disabilities my son will not be offered the same opportunities in life so it is up to me to build something for him” Although Deborah has the drive and enthusiasm, the new business venture wouldn’t have been possible without the support and funding from NatWest relationship manager Gemma Payne who obtained an £80,000 loan to facilitate the business. Deborah said “Gemma has been absolutely outstanding with supporting my business venture. She went that extra mile for me which is exactly what you need when you start a new business”.
