£8.4 million residential development in Warrington near completion
Warrington-based Your Housing Group report that its £8.4 million residential development in Warrington is near completion
Located on Folly Lane in Bewsey near Warrington, the 80 new properties are all available for affordable rent.
The development has been built in partnership with the Homes and Communities Agency (HCA) who provided an £800k grant.
The scheme, which is a mix of 47 two and three bedroom houses and 33 one and two bedroom apartments, is close to local amenities including a shop, doctor’s surgery, and a number of local primary schools and will be finished at the end of March.
Executive director of growth and development at Your Housing Group, Stephen Haigh, said: “This lovely development enables us to offer much needed quality homes for affordable rent to local people in Warrington.
“The range of properties available allows us to cater for people at different stages of life from single people, young couples and families through to those looking to downsize.
“This scheme is part of Your Housing Group’s £150 million affordable homes programme which will deliver nearly 1,400 new homes across the region by the Spring.”
