Capita agree terms for 42,000 sq ft office base at Lingfield Point Darlington

Lingfield Point is looking forward to welcoming the latest high profile customer to its thriving business community.

Capita will set up a base at the business park later this year after agreeing terms for 42,000 sq ft of space to accommodate around 450 of its staff.

The flagship contract will take Lingfield Point’s head count of customers to more than 3,000.

Capita - one of the UK’s leading providers of business process outsourcing and integrated professional support services – found its perfect match as far as culture and ethos are concerned at Lingfield Point.

Dominic Moore, Asset Management Director of Clearbell, owners of Lingfield Point, said: “This letting expedites the continued creative conversion of the former factory buildings into high-spec, high-quality office space.

“Capita will join a great business community which includes AMEC Foster Wheeler, Four Seasons Health Care, and the Student Loans Company.”

Clearbell has also recently invested in The Gates in Durham where it plans to regenerate the shopping centre to provide further amenities to the city.
