Response One appoints Sameer Raham
Response One, the data-driven marketing agency owned by St Ives Group, today announces the appointment of Sameer Rahman as Head of Analytical Insight & Research.
Rahman will help to spearhead Response One’s continued focus on truly understanding individual consumers, enabling brands to successfully drive both acquisition and retention strategies.
He brings to Response One solid experience in marketing and data analytics. Working at GoCompare, Buy as You View and Lloyds TSB, he led projects for clients across a variety of categories, delivering consumer and market insights, marketing and media strategies and return on marketing investments.
He will be using his extensive experience to develop new data, analytics and digital solutions for Response One’s clients and prospects, further strengthening the agency’s position as a leading end-to-end marketing agency.
Rahman is a member of the Chartered Institute of Marketing (CIM). He is on the judging panel of the Canmol Awards, and is a frequent speaker at CIM events on marketing and modelling related topics.
Damian Coverdale, Managing Director of Response One, said: “We truly believe that acquisition and retention should not be considered separately. Our focus is on providing the insight and capability to deliver innovative marketing solutions that draw on understanding across the full lifecycle of the relationship a consumer has with a brand.
“Sameer delivered both on- and offline communications strategies in his most recent role at GoCompare where he grew the team to become a central part of the organisation. Additionally, having led econometric modelling across the business, he will be able to use this experience to lend significant weight to our already market-leading multi-channel media planning proposition.”
Rahman added: “I’m thrilled to join Response One and excited to work with such a talented team. The opportunity to create brand new insight solutions and lead product innovation inspired me. I am especially looking forward to working on such a diverse portfolio of leading brands.”
