Alexander Knight & Co celebrates 2nd birthday
CHAMPAGNE corks were popping at fast growing accountancy practice Alexander Knight & Co as it celebrated two years in business by announcing expansion plans to grow revenue and create new jobs.
The practice was founded in 2012 by Hale-based accountant Murray Patt and specialises in advising small and medium sized businesses in the £1m to £10m turnover bracket.
Alexander Knight & Co, which is based at Manchester Airport, currently employs eight people and aims to double staff numbers by the end of 2016. It is on track to hit its turnover target of £2m.
The practice is already acting on key projects for seasoned local entrepreneurs including Selwyn Jones who sold £15m turnover coach and bus company Selwyn’s Travel to Metrolink operator RATP Dev UK last year and Martin Moore, the founder of Altrincham-based Martin Moore Kitchens.
Murray Patt, founder of Alexander Knight & Co, said:
“We’re delighted to reach this milestone and we’ve got growth plans in place to double our staff numbers to make sure we meet our target of £2m turnover. We’re securing new clients all the time and we’re already thinking about moving to larger premises.”
