Crown Records Management appoints Business Development Manager
Crown Records Management has strengthened its ability to take information management consultancy to market with the appointment of Graeme Austin as its new Business Development Manager.
Graeme, with more than 20 years of experience selling financial software and information to corporates, will start by focussing on promoting the company’s IM6 analysis. It provides comprehensive evaluation of an organisation’s digital and paper-based records and information management systems.
Graeme will be based at Crown’s Ruislip office, reporting to Business Development Director UKINE Chris Fogarty, but will also spend time liaising with Director of Information Management John Culkin regarding the delivery of IM consultancy.
Chris Fogarty comments: “Graeme is going to play an integral role taking the new services we offer to market. He has a wealth of experience in business consultancy and we are excited to welcome him to the team.”
Graeme has primarily worked in the wholesale financial services sector. He has most recently worked in product management and as a marketing communications consultant, advising SMEs across a number of industry sectors including financial technology.
Graeme adds: “This is an important year for the industry as we grapple with the numerous silos that exist within operating units across almost every business, as well as starting to prepare for fresh EU regulation relating to data privacy. Working for Crown is a great opportunity. It’s a new business unit, so it is similar to a start-up, but it is backed by a company with a terrific reputation and strong balance sheet.”
Crown Records Management, which has a presence in almost 60 countries, helps clients to maximise the value of their ‘corporate memory’ through the storage, active management and timely distribution of information assets. It provides advice, support and technical know-how, in addition to secure archiving and retrieval of information in physical and electronic formats, as well as digital imaging, media management and data destruction.
