Second phase of popular development released

The second phase of an extremely popular housing development in Colchester has been released for sale.

A further 58 stunning new homes – made up of three and four bedroom detached and semi-detached properties - are available at Persimmon Homes Essex’s Nightingale Gardens scheme in Plover Road, Stanway.

A new show home has recently opened on site to give prospective home owners the chance to see what is on offer.

Jason Andrews, land director at Persimmon Homes Essex, said: “We’re excited about the launch of the second phase of this development.

“The first phase was exceptionally popular as it provided homes for people at all stages of the property ladder, from young professionals to families and those downsizing later in life.

“This is an extension to that and we are expecting strong interest again.

“Work is in full swing and the first residents were in for Christmas.”

Persimmon Homes Essex contracts manager Simon Gronland scooped a top industry award for his work on the first phase of the development, which delivered 84 much-needed properties in the area.

Simon was awarded an NHBC Pride in the Job Quality Award for his work overseeing Nightingale Gardens, recognising the high standards of the building work.

Nightingale Gardens is bordered on each side with a stunning range of Essex style new homes. Cladding and attractive brick fascias sit side by side with attractive rendered exteriors set to create a pleasing varied street scene.

The development is ideally-located for commuters, first time buyers and families alike as it boasts excellent transport links to amenities in Colchester’s town centre, and is a short distance from the A12, the trunk road for Chelmsford and London.

The site is also conveniently located for access to main railway lines providing services to London Liverpool Street.
