Connecting Consett

Perspective Consett have come up with an idea that will help to form and cement relationships between local businesses and also to tell the rest of the region how great Consett is. The online Consett Business Directory is the brain-child of Fran Williams, Perspective’s MD.

Fran explains “there’s a lot more to Consett than being the ex-steelworks town high on the edge of the North Pennines. There are a variety of businesses showing great talent, dedication and tenacity and it’s time this is recognised.”

Consett Directory is designed to be accessible to all, aiming to encourage collaboration between the businesses locally and also to encourage people to buy in and around Consett. An add-on to the directory is ‘Consett Connections’ – a business community with regular meet-ups of a formal and informal nature, but also an active online community.

Perspective are holding an open event at The Jolly Drovers, Leadgate on Monday 9th March between 9.00 am and 11.30 am to launch the new service. Any business is welcome to pop in, network, have a coffee and learn more.
