OnBoard Pro committed to apprenticeship academy status

~~A NEW technology driven company, operating nationally within the residential property sector, has launched an ambitious recruitment drive to attract talented young people onto its apprenticeship schemes. OnBoard Pro recognises the importance of investing in the development of young people, and is seeking to achieve academy status through the recruitment of five apprentices to support key business functions in the areas of administration, marketing and web development.

Since launching in September 2014 the company has experienced significant growth which has driven a high level of recruitment activity. It currently employs 24 full time members of staff, a number that will increase to 36 in the next six months.

Rebecca Strong, HR and Policy Director of OnBoard Pro, said: “We recognise that as important as it is to recruit experienced people into the company, it’s equally important to find talented young people with real drive and ambition. People we can invest time in to develop on our internal apprenticeship schemes. This is crucial to our continued growth and the long term future of the business.

“The apprenticeships we’ve created are in key areas of the business and are fantastic opportunities for the right individuals, who demonstrate to us that they would be invaluable to OnBoard Pro.”

As part of its wider recruitment drive OnBoard Pro is also seeking two Sales Executives, who will be based in their London office, which is due to open in March this year, and a Web Developer who will be based at their Newcastle office.

OnBoard Pro is innovative pre-tenancy software which combines the full lettings process into one efficient system. It provides letting agents with the tools to comprehensively check the suitability of tenants. A full tenancy application can be completed on the same day as a tenant viewing a property, in some cases in under an hour. It is estimated up to 18 hours of adminastritive time can be saved by using the software.

Based at Newburn Riverside, Newcastle Upon Tyne, OnBoard Pro has been launched by the owners of several other North East technology businesses including SGP Consulting and Luna4 Enterprises and is based at Newburn Riverside in the city.
