Quantum Pharmaceutical Donation Helps Boost Sir Bobby Foundation
A County Durham based pharmaceutical company has shown its support to one of the North East’s most respected figures by making a donation that will benefit local people battling cancer.
The Sir Bobby Robson Foundation, a charity which focuses on the early detection and treatment of cancer, has been given a £400 boost, thanks to an annual Family Fun Day fundraiser held by Quantum Pharmaceutical – a leading manufacturer and supplier of medicines and services to the healthcare sectors.
The Foundation funds projects within the Newcastle upon Tyne Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust that directly benefit cancer patients from across north east England and Cumbria – and which also contribute significantly to international research into the disease.
“Our Burnopfield headquarters employs hundreds of people from the North East, so we’re delighted to contribute to this great local charity’s vital work within our region,” says Katie-Jane Dowson, a member of Quantum Pharmaceutical’s Corporate Social Responsibility team.
Visit the Sir Bobby Robson Foundation website for further information or to make a donation.
