The Leeds office of global property consultancy Knight Frank and Leeds commercial property specialist Carter Towler have advised on the letting of a 10,000 sq ft unit at the Access 26 business park, Junction 26 of the M62 at Cleckheaton, West Yorkshire.
Northern Power Grid have taken the whole of the Block A in Centurion Way, which has been speculatively built by St Paul’s Street Investments Ltd. The rent is £6.50 per sq ft.
Block A is one of three new high-quality industrial/ trade units, comprising a total of approximately 20,000 sq ft, which have been developed by St Paul’s Street Investments Ltd.
Tom Lamb, Associate and industrial property specialist with Knight Frank in Leeds, said: “This is one of very few speculatively-built developments in the Yorkshire region during the past five years. So it is tremendous news that all three units have now been let
“These are high-class units, with an excellent BREAM rating, fully-fitted offices and generous loading and parking space,” he added. “So it is not surprising they have been snapped up.”
Mr Lamb explained: “Access 26 is positioned in a prime location in the region, it is on the outskirts of Cleckheaton, and adjacent to the M62/M606 interchange at Junction 26 of the M62.”
Josh Holmes of Carter Towler commented: “One of the key reasons for the outstanding success of Access 26 is its location. It is prominently situated on the M62/M606 interchange at the intersection with Whitehall Road (A58) and Bradford Road (A638). The M62 connects with the M621 at Junction 27, five miles to the east, providing direct access to Leeds city centre and the M1.
“This superb strategic location therefore provides direct access to the Leeds and Bradford conurbations together with the national motorway network. This is highlighted by the fact that all the major centres in West Yorkshire are easily accessible within 15 minutes,” he added.
