Growing Northumberland PR firm expands to larger Blyth premises

An expanding Northumberland PR agency has double cause for celebration with a move to a new office and an addition to its client portfolio.

Round Table Solutions has opened an office in the brand new Blyth Workspace and managing director John McCabe has welcomed the team from biomass heating specialists re:heat as the first visitors.

“What better way to mark the opening of our fantastic new office than by launching our work with re:heat,” said John.

“The last few weeks have been pretty hectic not least with finalising the plans for the office move and preparing the ultimately successful pitch to re:heat. Now that we’ve settled in we can get on with raising re:heat’s profile and continuing to provide PR and marketing support to the other clients in our portfolio.

“It was a real pleasure to welcome re:heat’s Ben Tansey and Penny Stewart to the new office. I think they were particularly impressed by the Beach Hut meeting room which has been designed in the style of the famous Blyth landmarks.”

re:heat was established in 2011 by Ben and co-founder Neil Harrison. The Alnwick-based company supports businesses of all sizes convert from fossil fuel to sustainable, low-carbon woodfuel heating systems. Its team of wood fuel specialists offers a complete package to support clients in buying a boiler, designing a new system, fuel supply logistics and material handling, specialist training and problem solving.

Ben explained re:heat’s need for PR support and the team’s reasons for appointing Round Table Solutions: “We operate in an emerging but already crowded market so it’s important we distinguish re:heat on the grounds of quality and our ability to deliver a full wrap-around service to customers. We wanted to hire a firm with a similar ethos to our own and one which displayed a clear understanding of our sector. After a competitive pitch process we had no hesitation in appointing Round Table Solutions. I hope that this is the just the start of a working relationship which will see the two businesses flourish and grow.”

Round Table Solutions was launched in May 2013 by the former corporate affairs director at Rio Tinto Alcan, John McCabe. The company specialises in all aspects of PR and communications including media relations, stakeholder engagement and building brand awareness for its clients across the private, public and third sectors.
