#idecide helping young people control their own future

GROUND BREAKING PROJECT HELPING YOUNG PEOPLE TAKE CHARGE OF THEIR OWN FUTURES

North East based YOUTH development charity, The Key, has today launched an ambitious UK wide crowdfunding campaign to put life decisions firmly in the hands of young people

The #idecide campaign aims to build a world where young people can control their own future and have an equal chance of achieving what they want from life. Though an online marketplace #idecide will open doors to new, money can’t buy opportunities for young people. By entrusting young people with the power to make their own decisions about the routes they wish to take in life, they will develop the confidence and motivation needed to explore a world of possibilities.

This first phase of the #idecide campaign hopes to raise £10,000 by Tuesday 16th April 2015. The money raised will be used to fund the build of the first ever online marketplace to feature thousands of diverse opportunities for young people to discover. Nothing like this currently exists and is so badly needed by young people everywhere.

Hannah Underwood, The Key’s CEO says ‘Young people are faced with making difficult life decisions, but don’t always know what opportunities are out there or how to access them. By providing young people with choices, unique opportunities and support, #idecide could really change their lives.’

Young people can sign up now for FREE to become the first to hear about the exclusive money can’t buy opportunities when the online marketplace launches.

With just four weeks to raise £10,000 there are plenty of ways to get involved. From just £2, backers will receive fantastic one-of-a-kind #idecide goodies including badges and t-shirts. There are really creative ways for youth organisations and businesses to get involved too and even ways for people who want to get stuck in and help drive and influence this fantastic project from the inside out.
