Inspired Energy PLC inspires Britain
INSPIRED Energy PLC, one of the UK’s largest energy consultants, has been identified as one of London Stock Exchange’s 1000 Companies to Inspire Britain after outperforming their competition and showing consistent profit growth.
Inspired Energy PLC is the only Utility Company based in the North West to have been identified by the London Stock Exchange. The report is a celebration of the UK’s fastest-growing and most dynamic small and medium sized businesses (SMEs).
To be included in the list, companies needed to show consistent revenue growth over a minimum of three years and after significantly outperforming their industry peers - Inspired Energy PLC ticked all of the boxes. More information on how the companies have been chosen can be found in the report online.
Originally established in 2000, Inspired Energy PLC is becoming a massive force in the energy world and houses a family of companies under the Inspired Energy PLC banner. They offer bespoke energy management and procurement strategies to help businesses save on their energy costs and consumption. Inspired Energy PLC floated on AIM in 2011, the junior London stock market, and now the company is valued at in excess of £60 million.
Xavier Rolet, Chief Executive, London Stock Exchange Group said:
“This report is a significant part of London Stock Exchange’s broader campaign to support UK high growth companies in their journeys from Start-up to Stardom and to create an entrepreneurship revolution. I’m delighted that a strong alliance between UK Government, financial market participants, investors, entrepreneurs and companies has been created to support these inspiring businesses.“
