Time for a Cuppa Dementia Fundraiser
Shackletons help to raise awareness of dementia and its effects during a Dementia UK Time for a Cuppa fundraising event.
Held at Pontefract’s favourite cocktail bar, AlleyC ’Zam, the event welcomed over two hundred people eager to make their contribution and take part in the fundraising activities.
The star packed raffle and tombola was supported by Shackletons with a star prize, a one-off patchwork Shackletons high seat chair, which helped to raise eight hundred pounds in raffle ticket sales alone, with the total amount raised, a whopping thousand pounds.
Gail Thwaite, General Manager at AlleyC ‘Zam says: “I’d just like to thank Shackletons for their help and kindness. We raised so much more than we thought we would, this donation will have a hugely positive impact on those who receive help and support from Dementia UK.”
