Content aggregation product Hubs launched by 3D Issue

3D Issue, a platform for creating and publishing interactive digital content, has launched a new content aggregation and delivery product called Hubs. Hubs enables publishers to extract content from any online source, CRM or social feed and then instantly deliver that content into a responsive web publication or mobile App.

With mobile being the most popular way to browse the web, Hubs helps publishers maximise the value and exposure of their content by reaching new markets and allowing their audiences to access all related content in one place. Hubs offers simultaneous access to blogs, news, alerts and feeds, Twitter, Facebook, YouTube, Instagram and more. Hubs requires no maintenance as it uses existing channels, automatically monitoring the sources and pushing new content directly into the content Hub.

3D Issue has added Hubs to its expanding suite of content marketing tools which includes Flipbooks and eBooks with more than 10,000 customers in more than 100 countries.

Paul McNulty, founder and CEO of 3D Issue, commented:

“At 3D Issue, we understand the growing demands of implementing an effective mobile marketing strategy on our customers. Hubs sets about solving part of the challenge. We see aggregation as an integral part of the mobile centric content marketing experience and we’re proud to be at the cutting edge of this trend.”

“Hubs is an easy-to-use tool that allows you to package your content in a matter of seconds, allowing users simply to select their sources and then build the content stream which they require. The result is an auto-updating publication that provides live content on demand - perfect for creating news walls for companies, events or for powering content delivery for your mobile app.”

Hubs has already been implemented by leading digital media powerhouses such as the Chicago Sun-Times who use the Hubs technology to power hundreds of regional news apps throughout the United States.

Timothy Landon, CEO of the Sun Times Network, said:

“We believe media and news is best executed as a mix of aggregated, curated and original content as, in the end, customers and readers want well organised information delivered to them in a variety of ways.

The Chicago Sun-Times already features a number of specialist technologies to improve user experience and Hubs integrates well with our existing technology stack. As a result of this strategy, our audience has more than doubled in 90 days and that upwards trend is continuing.“
