Recruitment Drive for Top Renewable Energy Company

One of the North East’s leading renewable energy company is heading up a recruitment drive - in line with plans for expansion - following a successful first year of trading.

Saving Energy Renewables North East, based in Ashington, is looking to employ up to 30 members of staff, doubling its number of employees in only a matter of weeks.

The expansion falls in line with their plans to grow the company in both the domestic and commercial renewable energy market. And the company has already been awarded with several new commercial contract wins, which will see large scale solar panels being installed to various businesses throughout the region.

Garry Coulson, Managing Director of Saving Energy said: “Our plans for regional expansion is coming into fruition and we are very pleased to be able to provide new job opportunities to people in the local community. We value every member of staff at Saving Energy, offering long term job security, training and development providing real future prospects.”

The company has vacancies for various roles including: surveying, solar fitting, office and sales operatives. All new staff will receive full training and development programmes to ensure employees gain a full understanding of the company and their role within it. The company’s in house development resource centre provides all staff with the tools to encourage personal and career development with help and guidance on best working practices.

Having recently secured Investors in People in recognition for their commitment to providing job opportunities to the long term unemployed and hard to reach groups, Saving Energy is hoping to follow suit in their new recruitment drive offering job positions to those groups.

Garry further said: “I am aware of the difficulties people of all ages have faced in the last few years securing a job, particularly following the recession. We want to give people life chances – regardless of their previous working background – as we can provide them with the necessary skills through continuous training and development through securing a long-term role with Saving Energy.”

“We pride ourselves on providing the highest standards in terms of customer service, and all of our staff from sales operatives to installation teams play a pivotal role in achieving this. This is why training is so important to us and we want everyone within the team to be proud of the service they deliver.”

The company has further plans to expand their offering throughout the region, and can only see the business growing in numbers.

Saving Energy was established in 2014. The business specialises in all aspects of renewable energy, offering a full end service extending from biomass, solar PV, solar thermal through to external insulation, LED lighting and boiler changes. They boast clients such as Arch Developments and Northumberland Aged Mineworkers Home Association (NAMHA).
