Association of Women in Property announces new chair
The Yorkshire and North East branch of Women in Property (WiP) has announced its new branch Chairman.
Monica Green, director of PR and communications agency The Partners Group takes up the role from 1st March for one year. With a key focus on property PR, York-based Partners Group has been working with organisations including architects, house builders, property developers and building product manufacturers for more than 25 years.
Monica is co-owner of The Partners Group and has been a member of WiP for three years. She said, “Women in Property has been supporting women working in the property and construction sector for nearly 30 years, promoting networking, mentoring and professional development. Over this time the diversity agenda has really come to the fore, with employers beginning to understand the benefits that come from bringing together a mixed team, encouraged by national initiatives such as Property Week magazine’s Open Plan campaign, of which we are strong supporters.
“WiP is a great advocate of this and works hard to help senior management address diversity issues and less experienced members realise their potential.”
