Bilfinger GVA appointed to deliver HC-One capital improvements
Bilfinger GVA Manchester has been appointed to advise one of the UK’s biggest care home groups, HC-One, on the large-scale, multi-phased refurbishment programme of its northern England and Scotland sites.
HC-One, which owns and operates over 270 care home sites nationwide, selected Bilfinger GVA’s Building Consultancy team – led by Steve Martin – as its sole advisor across Northern England and Scotland, for the refurbishment of its portfolio in this region in a three-phase programme.
Expected to be completed in 2017, the programme will involve the delivery of project management, contract administration and quantity surveying services and advice to help improve and update properties for the benefit of the residents.
Steve Martin, director, Bilfinger GVA, commented: “To be awarded this significant project with HC-One is testament to the success of our previous work together and our ongoing relationship.
“We look forward to delivering the improvement works to the highest quality standards, setting the benchmark for care environments across the north of England and Scotland, with minimum disruption to residents.”
