Survey Monkey takes Bite out of UK market

SurveyMonkey, an online survey platform, has appointed London-based Bite as its first UK communications agency, as it continues its global expansion.

Following a successful partnership in autumn last year to launch SurveyMonkey’s Audience product into the UK, the company has appointed Bite to help drive the rapid growth of its London office at Second Home in the heart of Tech City.

Bite will focus in 2015 on building awareness of SurveyMonkey’s suite of solutions for UK businesses and public sector organisations, including its Salesforce integration app.

Rachel Gilley, deputy MD at Bite, commented: “Everyone from students to governments, and from Fortune 500 to family firms, knows, uses and loves SurveyMonkey’s online platform. But this company never stops innovating.

“In the past few years it’s built the largest respondent panel in the US, charted new territory in online political polling, and democratised access to rapid, affordable data for businesses of all sizes around the world. We’re really excited to be working with such a creative business, and are delighted to put our market insight, media contacts and content chops at SurveyMonkey’s disposal.”

SurveyMonkey’s London office is the Silicon Valley-based company’s largest single-market investment in Europe to date, but the firm has been serving the UK for the past 15 years and currently has more than 1.5m active users in the country.
