Yorkshire’s hlw Keeble Hawson involved in £25m deals for healthcare provider
The property and corporate team from hlw Keeble Hawson have recently handled a range of major deals worth over £25m Blue Brick Healthcare - a specialist provider of nursing and specialist clinical care for the elderly, as well as people suffering with dementia and other complex needs.
The proposed deals consist of the healthcare provider opening a brand new £5.75m, 70 bedded care centre at Ripon, North Yorkshire in April 2015, as well as a new £5.5m, 67 bedded care centre in late 2016 at Stourport-on-Severn in Worcestershire.
Both of the new facilities will offer support within small units.
Blue Brick Healthcare, which has been providing its services at The Wolds Care Centre at Louth in Lincolnshire since 2012, has also secured additional planning permission for the development of similar builds located in Rotherham and Doncaster.
Mike Bullas, Blue Brick Healthcare founder, said: “We appointed hlw Keeble Hawson’s corporate and property teams to manage our transactions because of the team’s breadth and depth of experience in the property and care industry sectors. They have been efficient and effective in getting the job done.”
Roger Dyson, the head of hlw Keeble Hawson’s corporate and business team, commented: “The ethos of Blue Brick Healthcare is to provide a home for life and to put people at the heart of its services and we are pleased to be involved in the company’s vibrant expansion plans.”
Over the last year, hlw Keeble Hawson, which has offices in Sheffield, Leeds and Doncaster, has seen rapid growth in commercial and property deals across the region.
