Smith & Williamson grows presence in Birmingham
Smith & Williamson, the accountancy and investment group, has bolstered its Birmingham financial services team with the appointment of Associate Director, Ian Hill and Chartered Financial Planner, Dan Morris.
Ian joins from Broadstone Corporate Benefits (formerly known as BDO Investment Management) and specialises in employee benefits and pensions. He will be responsible for developing and enhancing Smith & Williamson’s corporate benefits proposition. His previous experience includes Torquil Clark Employee Benefits, Bentley Jennison and RSM Robson Rhodes.
Dan also joins the firm from Broadstone Pensions & Investments and has over 15 years’ experience in the financial services sector. Previously employed at Grant Thornton and Baker Tilly, he has specialised in owner managed businesses, senior executives and the professional services sector.
On their appointments, John Hodgson, head of the Birmingham office of Smith & Williamson, commented: “We are delighted to welcome both Ian and Dan to our Birmingham team. As our office continues to grow and expand its offering, they will both help us deliver a first rate service to our clients.”
