Bella Italia and Next to open in Dover
Fashion and home retailer giant Next and Italian restaurant Bella Italia are to open a new stores in Dover.
Next has signed a pre-let agreement for a 16, 266 sq ft store and Bella Italia has signed a 3,751 sq ft pre-let agreement.
Both companies will form part of the St James’s development at the heart of Dover town centre.
Head of inward investment at Dover District Council, Tim Ingleton, said to KentOnline: “I am delighted that Next are coming to Dover.
“They’ve clearly seen the enormous potential of the St James’s development to offer a 21st century shopping experience in the heart of Dover town centre.”
Cllr Paul Watkins, Leader of Dover District Council, said: “It’s great news that Bella Italia has chosen Dover as the location for their first restaurant in Kent. This is another strong indication of investor confidence in the town.”
Clive Lynton, development director for developers, Bond City, said: “We’re delighted to have Bella Italia join us at St James’s. Their great quality, all-day dining experience is the perfect match for our mixed-use development with its town centre location, high footfall, and broad range of tenants.”
