Blue Air increase service from Liverpool John Lennon Airport
Blue Air have started a second service from Liverpool John Lennon Airport to Bacau in North East Romania.
The news comes just three months after Blue Air began operations from Liverpool to Romanian capital Bucharest.
Flights to Bacau operate twice weekly and take Blue Air’s operation at Liverpool to five departing flights per week.
The news comes as Flybe announcedits increase in routes from Liverpool to Amsterdam and after the airport appealed to local businesses to campaign for more routes from Liverpool.
LJLA’s Air Service Development Manager, Paul Winfield, said, “Blue Air’s flights are proving very popular.
“This is an exciting time for the airline and we will continue to work closely to explore other opportunities to serve Liverpool from elsewhere across their network.”
