Your Housing Group signs up three gas contractors

Warrington-based Your Housing Group, one of the UK’s largest registered providers of affordable housing, has confirmed the appointment of three gas maintenance and repairs companies, who have each been awarded a ten-year contract from 1 April 2015 following a competitive tender process.

The three contractors include PH Jones, who have previously worked for Your Housing Group in the North West, and will cover our properties across Greater Manchester and Yorkshire; Liberty Gas Group will be the contractor for properties in Cumbria, Lancashire and Staffordshire Moorlands; whilst Warmer Energy Services will continue to provide gas services for customers in Warrington, Cheshire and Merseyside.

The contractors will provide gas safety checks, maintenance, repairs and reactive central heating installations for Your Housing Group customers on behalf of the Registered Provider. As part of the tender process, they were also assessed for their ability to deliver a high quality, value for money service, whilst offering a positive impact in the community.
