AppSense Adds New Marketing Leader to Accelerate Growth
AppSense, the global leader in User Environment Management (UEM) enabling over 3,200 organizations and 7.5 million endpoints, today announced the appointment of enterprise marketing veteran Jed Ayres to the role of Senior Vice President, Marketing. Ayres brings unique relationships and experience as the company seeks to expand its customer acquisition efforts and accelerate channel growth.

Mr. Ayres has over 20 years of IT sales and marketing experience and joins AppSense from leading marketing and partner management at MCPc, a $300m annual revenue, top 100 Solution Provider. Prior to MCPc Jed held senior marketing and sales roles at MTM Technologies, MegaPath and Rhythms NetConnections.

Recently AppSense, which is headquartered in Daresbury, Cheshire, has released new versions of its industry-leading user environment management suite DesktopNow, and introduced new tailored versions of the suite, to support virtual desktops, physical desktops, and mid-market organizations. Last month it also launched AppSense Insight, its new analytics platform that provides IT leaders with actionable intelligence about their end-user client computing environment.
The company also announced that Ravi Khatod’s new role as SVP, Product and Business Development will focus on initiatives driving the company’s strategic priority to extend the AppSense workspace management platform across physical, virtual and cloud-delivered desktops through innovative, easy to use, and scalable UEM solutions.
