Double Delight for the Bardon Group
~~Leading franchise organisation, The Bardon Group is celebrating the fact that top franchisees from two of its brands have been named as finalists in this year’s Encouraging Women in Franchising (EWIF) Woman Franchisee of the Year awards.
Jude Parker, owner of education technology specialists ComputerXplorers North Yorkshire and Sally Findlay, owner of promotional products and branded clothing business Recognition Express Mid Surrey, will go head-to-head for the title at an awards ceremony in London on 12 May. Said The Bardon Group managing director Nigel Toplis: “Both Jude and Sally consistently sit at the top table of our best performing franchisees and it’s wonderful to see them reach the final stages of this highly regarded national award. We’re very proud of them – they are powerful role models both for our network, for women and the franchise industry as a whole.” EWIF’s primary focus is to support women who are looking for a route into the franchise industry. Sponsored by NatWest, the awards are designed to bring together the best women in the industry and celebrate their successes. Said Sally Anne Butters, National Co-chair of EWIF: “We’d like to offer a huge congratulations to the finalists. The judges had a tough decision to make this year especially with a record number of entries! We’re looking forward to seeing our finalists at the awards ceremony and celebrating the hard work and effort that they have put into both their businesses and encouraging women into franchising over the last year.” The Bardon Group has a stable of four brands: Recognition Express, ComputerXplorers, The Zip Yard and Kall Kwik. Its Leicestershire headquarters has a total of 130 franchises and licensed businesses across the UK.
