Good Friday ‘Fish & Fizz’ at Trattoria 51

With Easter fast approaching, Trattoria 51 has unveiled its ‘Fish & Fizz’ offerings that will be served exclusively on Good Friday (April 3).

Famous for its ‘Seafood Specials’, the popular Old Hall street eatery will treat its guests to a mouth-watering selection of fish dishes – all of which can be complemented with a choice of Prosecco.

Restaurateur Attilio Sergi said: “Good Friday is the perfect excuse to explore a range of tasty fish dishes and make the most out of the one day that you can’t eat meat.

“From classic sea bass to luxury lobster, our Good Friday Specials menu has got a great range of seafood dishes to suit a variety of palates - what’s more our diners can further their indulgence by pairing their meal with suitably selected fizz, served at our new 51 Prosecco Bar.“

To begin their ‘Fish & Fizz’ feast guests will be treated to a complimentary glass of Prosecco on arrival before choosing from a selection of seafood starters including Home Made Smoked Salmon and Mascarpone Ravioli served with Prawns and Dill Cream Sauce; Seared King Scallops wrapped in Speck Ham served with Leek Puree and Devon White Crab Meat Tortino with Avocado, Tomato Concasse and Mary Rose.

Main dishes include Linguine allo Scoglio with King Prawns, Scallop, Mussels, Calamari, Samphire, White Wine, Garlic, Courgettes, Chilli and Cherry Tomatoes; Grigliata di Pesce - Selection of Grilled Fish and Shellfish, Sea Bass Fillet, Tiger Prawn, King Scallop, Langoustine and Swordfish served with Grilled Vegetables and Grilled New Potatoes, as well as Scottish Lobster alla Busera served with Linguine, White Wine, Garlic, Cherry Tomatoes and Chilli.

Attilio added: “Easter is all about spending quality time with family and friends – with that in mind we hope to create a dining experience that offers something a little more special to add to the Good Friday bank holiday merriments.

“Whilst our Liverpool venue will be closed for Easter Sunday, our original Southport restaurant is set serve a great range of Italian favourites that will make a delicious alternative to traditional Easter Sunday roasts.“

The Good Friday Specials menu is available at Trattoria 51 on Friday, April 3. Main courses start from £11.95.
