Solutions for Accounting to mark launch of Sage 200 2015

Solutions for Accounting will mark the launch of Sage 200 2015 by hosting a free seminar at its North East office on May 12.

Local business owners and IT professionals are invited to attend the event, from 9am to 11am, at Gateway West Business Centre, Newburn Riverside, Newcastle upon Tyne, NE15 8NX.

The North East team will present all of the new features and benefits of Sage 200 2015, which launched in March. Attendees will then have the opportunity to ask questions about the software, while enjoying coffee/tea and a selection of pastries.

Highlights include a brand new interface, enhanced reporting capabilities, a Fixed Assets Module, new functionality within Project Accounting and the latest version of Sage CRM.

The new interface offers a modern design with greater efficiency and flexibility for customers accessing the areas they use the most.

A simpler and more intuitive desktop can be customised to suit a user’s needs and offers three times quicker start up, quick links to modules, forms and help files, as well as to favourites and Frequently Accessed which automatically suggest favourites depending on the weekday.

A new menu system also allows for more efficient and deeper search capabilities.

New summary pages for sales, purchases, sales orders and financial summaries are more interactive and incorporate dynamic graphics for easy data interpretation. The pages are also accessible remotely.

Sage 200 Excel Integration is a powerful new reporting tool which utilises the functionality of Excel. This enables users to quickly extract the data that they want and filter, format, pivot and run deeper analysis while retaining the familiar layouts of Sage 200 reports - bridging the gap between pre-configured and ad-hoc reporting.

The new Work in Progress (WIP) routine within Project Accounting allows customers to align costs and revenues being posted into the profit and loss to ensure the true profitability of a project is always reflected, even if projects last many months.

In addition, the new Fixed Assets register allows users to effectively record their assets and manage depreciation within the new Sage 200.
