Coda Studios launches new division

AWARD winning Sheffield architectural design practice Coda Studios has launched a new division as its rapid growth continues.

Based at the company’s Kelham Island head office in Sheffield, Coda Structures will deal specifically with structural engineering issues and will assist in the delivery of Coda’s expanding range of bespoke projects across the country.

Heading the new division is 30-year-old Henry Freeman, who comes to Coda Structures after several years working with leading companies like Capita, Curtins and Clugston Construction.

“Our decision to launch Coda Structures follows the enormous success of our Coda Planning division, headed by Adam Murray,” said Coda Managing Director David Cross.

“Like Adam, Henry is a young and dynamic personality who understands what a company like Coda is all about and will add great value to our clients with his wealth of experience and enthusiasm.

“His appointment comes at a time when, with firmly established presences in Sheffield and Leeds, we are now looking forward to opening our new offices in Manchester towards the end of the summer.”

At the same time Coda Studios has also welcomed Charlotte Haughton to the team as a Part 2 architect, having recently completed her Masters at Leeds Metropolitan University.

“Charlotte will prove a valuable addition to the architectural practice,” said David.

“Following her appointment we are also looking to create several further new posts over the next two months to meet the demands of a portfolio of projects that continues to expand both nationally and internationally.”
