Sunderland’s Press Ahead expands following first quarter contract wins

Press Ahead, a Sunderland-based creative communications agency, has reported a successful first quarter following a raft of new account wins, a move to larger office accommodation and a recruitment drive.

The company, which provides marketing strategy, PR, creative design, media buying and social media support, has been appointed by Redcar & Cleveland College and has also secured work with not-for-profit housing provider Four Housing.

Moreover, the Wearside company has been appointed by Smarterbuys Store, an organisation set up provide social housing tenants with access to affordable and ethical credit, to develop a focussed approach to their marketing activity and support them in its brand development.

In addition, business cost solutions company, The Great Annual Savings Group, has enlisted Press Ahead’s services, whilst the Sir John Fitzgerald Group also adds to Press Ahead’s growing client list.

In line with the account wins, Press Ahead is investing in both its people and its facilities to ensure it is well-placed to deliver exceptional service to its current clients and to enable future growth.

The company is in the process of recruiting three senior level positions across its PR, marketing and creative divisions to enhance and expand its offer. The move will take the 13 strong team to 16 over the coming weeks.

Press Ahead has recently moved to new waterfront office space within The Jupiter Centre at the North East Business & Innovation Centre (BIC) to accommodate business growth.
