Barratt Homes celebrates success of Help to Buy
Barratt Homes in Northallerton is celebrating the huge success of the Government’s Help to Buy scheme, with over a third of the properties at its Northallerton site being snapped up via the scheme.
The house builder – who operates sites around North Yorkshire – has recently seen 37.5% of properties at its Mowbray Park development being purchased via Help to Buy. The scheme, which helps buyers to purchase a home, with deposits as low as 5%, has been a huge success for Barratt Homes, with over 400 Barratt properties purchased via Help to Buy across the region since its launch.
Debbie Foster, Sales Manager at Barratt Homes, commented: “Mowbray Park has been a popular site for Barratt – not least with the success of Help to Buy we’ve seen recently. This scheme has been hugely beneficial for local families looking to get their first step on the ladder, and it’s fantastic to see this reflected in our developments.”
