Manchester-based Designer Habitat reaches 1.5 millionth sale
Manchester-based Designer Habitat, the kitchen and homewares product provider, has broken through a key milestone with its 1.5-millionth sale from its VonHaus range.
The company is also targeting £50m worth of sales by 2017.
Designer Habitat was founded by business partners Mark Januszewski and Craig Foster in 2009 and now employs 75 staff.
As part of Designer Habitat’s ongoing growth strategy, it has also launched a brand new website for the VonHaus range, with plans to introduce online product demonstrations soon.
Ranges are produced under Designer Habitat’s two main brands – VonHaus and VonShef – both of which are developed in-house at its head office in Manchester.
CEO of Designer Habitat, Mark Januszewski, said: “Designer Habitat has continued to show strong growth over the last couple of years, with a strong focus on strengthening our current ranges.
“We’re delighted to have reached such a significant sales milestone and intend to build on this with a series of new product ranges throughout the remainder of 2015 and beyond.
“There’s a considerate amount of loyalty for Designer Habitat, which is driven by success across our homeware and kitchenware ranges – both here in the UK and overseas.”
