Finalists named for Franchisor of the Year Awards

The British Franchise Association (bfa) has announced 19 finalists for the 2015 bfa HSBC Franchisor of the Year Awards, supported by Express Newspapers.

Established in 1989 and the highest honours available to brands in the sector, the awards recognise the UK’s most exceptional franchisors in a range of categories for their business growth and development, service excellence and commitment to ethical franchising practice.

The finalists are:

Award for Innovation

  • Pitman Training

Customer Focus Award

  • Home Instead Senior Care

Finalists will present to a judging panel of industry experts in London on 20 & 21 May, with winners announced at a black-tie dinner on 25 June at the ICC, Birmingham.

Andy Brattesani, UK head of franchising for HSBC, said: “Thanks to the calibre of entries, we’ve arrived at a list of businesses that really highlight the diversity found in modern franchising. The finalists, a strong combination of established and newer franchisors, should be very proud to have been shortlisted for their dedication to exceptional business practices. We look forward to hearing more about their success at the judging.”

Sean Hammond from Express Newspapers added: “These franchisors have demonstrated excellence in business as well as in franchising and their stories should serve as an inspiration. The number of different business sectors represented showcases the opportunities in the sector for expanding businesses and for those looking into self-employment.”
