La Casita launches tapas to-go service

To celebrate its first anniversary in Ilkley’s Victorian Arcade, Spanish tapas bar, La Casita, has unveiled a new lunch time delicatessen and charcuterie menu which will be available as a take-out option from Monday 20 April.

Following a successful first year in the heart of Ilkley, La Casita will now be widening its daytime offering to include freshly prepared hot dishes as well as a range of new cold options, all available to take away and enjoy at work or home.

Available Monday to Friday, 12.00 to 15.00, La Casita’s new lunch time ‘to-go’ service will feature some of the bar’s most popular hot tapas dishes such as chorizo in red wine and slow cooked ox cheeks. Customers will also be able to choose cold options too including favourites such as Spanish chorizo or smoked beef wraps alongside white Spanish tuna or Vega de Los Lois Valdeon blue cheese salads. In addition to these core options will be La Casita’s famed selection of specially imported Spanish hams, charcuterie and cheeses, all sourced direct from the Badajoz region of south west Spain.

The new delicatessen and charcuterie menu can be viewed online at www.lacasitailkley.co.uk and as from Monday, customers will be able phone in their orders each morning, on 01943 601062, and arrange a lunch time collection.

Speaking about the bar’s new delicatessen, head chef, Simon Miller, commented: “We have been delighted with how well La Casita has been received over the last 12 months and I can’t thank our loyal customers enough for supporting us during our first year.

“It’s really important to us to keep this momentum going and like with any business, this means adapting and diversifying our offering. The new delicatessen is our way of responding to what customers, particularly local businesses, actually want and need at lunch time and we hope the new set-up gives customers an exciting, authentically Spanish lunch time alternative to be enjoyed on-the-go.

“Customers who are familiar with the bar’s main menu will recognise some of our big flavour favourites and for those who are yet to dine with us, we hope the deli gives a sneak peak at what they can expect each evening.”
