The Physios begin countdown to find 10,000th patient
Leading Sheffield-based physiotherapy practice, The Physios, has begun a countdown to find its 10,000th new patient.
The Physios was established in 1993 by principal physiotherapist, Paul Hattam. Paul had spent 15 years working in the NHS and set up the business to treat local people with all manner of musculoskeletal injuries.
Fast forward 22 years and The Physios is now located on Beech Hill, next to Hallamshire Hospital, and is on the verge of treating its 10,000th new patient.
Explains Paul: “We’ve come a long way since 1993 and over that time I’ve gathered some of the very best people for the practice. We have a team of highly skilled physiotherapists, sports massage professionals and a podiatrist – we’re serious about providing our patients with the very best care possible.
“From back or neck pain and elderly joint care, to experts who currently work in professional sport, we have a great mix. All of our clinicians also regularly advance their skills through courses and post-graduate education so we remain at the forefront of our industry.”
Adds Paul: “We’re currently in the process of a major building project to develop the practice – more details will be revealed soon – so to celebrate we wanted to reward our milestone 10,000th new patient with a package that will enable them to experience everything The Physios team can offer, free of charge.”
The 10,000th new patient’s package of care will include:
* as many physiotherapy sessions as it takes to get them back to their best, including expert analysis, hands-on therapy, exercises and management advice
* support to achieve any health and fitness goals * massage sessions as part of holistic management * pilates (a movement-based programme) to maintain the gains made in physiotherapy * specialist podiatry supply (if required) * regular physiotherapy sessions throughout the year
Concludes Paul: “So, we’re now waiting for that lucky person to get in touch. This is a unique opportunity for someone. We want them to experience everything we can offer – from hands-on therapy to holistic massage and the differing expertise of our team. Good luck!”
