Accounts Assistant Receives Top Level AAT Qualification
Michelle Basey has successfully achieved the Association of Accounting Technicians (AAT) Level 4 Qualification. It took Michelle 3 years to complete the qualification with Kaplan, a training and development partner in Newcastle.
The AAT Qualification is highly recognised in the accounting and finance industry and helps prepare its students for a successful career in accountancy.
Michelle, 26 from West Allotment, started her career at Winns over 7 years ago as an Administration Assistant. From there, she went on to join the Accounts department as a Accounts Assistant in the vehicle hire section of the company and is currently responsible for a range of accountancy duties such as data entry, month end procedures and helping to maintain an efficient accounts system.
Michelle comments: “Since I started working in the Accounts Department I quickly realised that I was interested in accountancy and was pleased to be given the opportunity to study for my AAT Qualification.”
Helen Baldwin, Vehicle Hire Account Manager adds: “Michelle is an asset to the team and we are delighted she has successfully completed her Level 4 AAT Qualification. We look forward to seeing Michelle further develop her career and skill set with the company.”
